Description
The Castrol TLX Plus range is formulated using high quality base oils and supersedes the previous TLX series. It incorporates a unique formulation of additive technology systems designed to overcome the adverse conditions seen in low oil consumption engines operating with varying quality heavy fuel oils.
Application
The Castrol TLX Plus range of engines oils was developed for use in medium speed diesel engines in marine propulsion and power generation applications.
Castrol TLX Plus is available with 20, 30, 40 or 50 BN and SAE 30 and 40 viscosity grades to suit differing fuel sulphur contents and engines builders’ requirements. In addition a 55 BN SAE 40 version is available for the most arduous power generation applications where high fuel sulphur levels and low oil consumption levels can be encountered.
Approval Status
The Castrol TLX Plus range of oils hold approvals from all major medium speed engine manufacturers.
