Specifications and Approvals
Shell Mysella R Oils meet the performance requirements of:
- DEF STAN – 91-31/1
- API Classification – CB
- MWM Deutz (Group D)
Applications
Shell Mysella R Oils are highly refined mineral oils fortified with additives specially chosen for their low ash characteristics. They are designed for use in spark-ignition gas engines which require a very low-ash crankcase oil. Also designed for use with natural gas and other hydrocarbon gases which are essentially free from sulphur and halogenated compounds.
For use in:
- Spark-ignition gas engines where a very low ash oil is specified
- Lower rated gas engines of older design
- Suitable for both two and four stroke engines
