Castrol Rustilo DWX 31 is a high quality solvent deposited protective, based on a powerful rust inhibitor and possessing good water displacement properties.

Application

Castrol Rustilo DWX 31 is used in conjunction with metal treatment processes such as phosphating in aqueous media, water quenching components after salt bath hardening or metals which have been acid pickled. It is suitable for use on cylinder liners, gears, spiral springs, simple hand tools, steel rods and bars etc.

It is preferable to completely immerse components but if impractical the fluid may be applied by spraying or brushing.
