Specifications and Approvals
- Mysella is approved by Dresser-Rand for their Category I and Category II engines.
Applications
Shell Mysella is a heavy-duty lubricant for high performance natural gas engines which require an “ashless” product. Using ashless technology developed by Shell, Mysella minimises engine wear, deposits in combustion chambers and exhaust ports and viscosity increase in service.
For use in:
2 and 4 stroke (2 and 4 cycle) spark-ignited engines fuelled by natural gas and LP gas, which require or perform well with an ashless oil, including the following types:-
- Allis-Chalmers, Ajax, Caterpillar (except 3400, 3500, 3600), Clark, Climax, Colt-Fairbanks Morse, Cooper-Bessemer (2-cycle), Dresser-Rand (Category I & II), International–Harvester, Waukesha,White Superior (naturally aspirated), Worthington.
Note: This product is not designed for automotive gas engines.
